Bajirao Mastani is an upcoming Indian historical romance film directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film narrates the story of the Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I and his second wife Mastani. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone portray the titular protagonists, Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao's first wife, and Tanvi Azmi plays Bajirao's mother. Bajirao Mastani is scheduled for release on 25 December 2015.
